I designed and coded an online music zine in high school to gain press credentials for concerts so my friend and I could get in for free. I thought I was just being clever but it got me hooked on creating websites so I turned my passion into my career by majoring in Web Design & New Media.

I’m at my best when I’m solving problems and helping others. I utilize design thinking methodology and my natural empathy to be a powerful creator and leader. I engage users to fully understand their needs so I can help accomplish their goals. I get to know my teammate’s strengths and weaknesses to help accomplish projects intentionally and collaboratively.

I’ve enjoyed an engaging career wearing many design hats for all kinds of projects at different tech companies. It has been an honor to design:

• Healthcare tech web app to help restore work life balance for physicians at Altais while providing better care for patients

• User friendly print software and hardware interfaces at EFI in an industry that has been slow to adopt user centered design

• Prototypes and pitch decks for FinTech startup Dyme to secure seed round funding to pursue our vision of helping people save money through micro habits

My love for design only grows as I apply it to more areas of my life. I’m so excited to be able to utilize my skills to help people through design whether it’s creating a website for a non-profit with a mission I support, a logo to get a colleague’s side hustle off the ground or menus and signage for a best friend’s wedding.

My goal in life is to always continue to learn which is driven by my constant curiosity. I love the challenge of diving deep into new industries, analyzing pain points for improvement, and architecting an innovative solution to help people.

Outside of design I enjoy snowboarding, baking, and of course live music. I’ve also recently discovered a love of learning languages which adds so much to my other love - travel!
