I created a simple set of icons, breadcrumbs, button style, and video player styles. I focused on creating clean, pixel-perfect elements that can be used universally.
50 Logos in 50 Days
April 3, 2012 // Motion Graphics
I spent 50 minutes a day for 50 consecutive days designing a new logo each day. I challenged my creativity through this project. The result is captured in this 50 second video. I was inspired by the companies, websites, words, etc. I came across each day.

May 17, 2011 // Print & Typography
I created a black and white book to explore how to convey a message through only typography and limited imagery. I chose to enliven Bluebird by Charles Bukowski through the typeface Clarendon. I played with the shape, weight, style, position, alignment, contrast, scale, tension, rhythm, asymmetry, and texture to communicate the poem.

Polar Bear Club
June 26, 2010 // Photography
My interest in design was sparked by my love of music. Going back to my roots as a concert photographer gets my creative juices flowing and reminds me why I love to design. Music is a constant source of inspiration for me. I always jump at the chance to take in a live show whenever possible. This photo was taken at Warped Tour in Mountain View, California.
November 19, 2009 // Photoshop
I created this poster as a reminder to do a simple thing to help out the planet: recycle. I scanned different pieces of paper and edited them in Photoshop to create this scene. Every element is paper and they are assembled into the scene separately.
Gym Class Heroes
October 8, 2009 // Photoshop
This is part one of an experimental portraiture series I did to explore Photoshop layers, effects, channels, and blending. It features the singer of Gym Class Heroes, Travie McCoy, performing at Warped Tour. I added textures and grunge to reflect the hot, summer day filled with music. I also corrected the photo and edited out distracting elements including another band member in the background and gaps in the backdrop behind the singer.

How do you spend hot days in the city? Sunbathing on the roof of course. A relaxing day for these two was interrupted by a nearby fire. This piece was featured in Academy of Art's Spring Show in 2010.
October 27, 2008 // Printmaking
The Koi fish symbolizes perseverance because of their upstream journey made every year. I made this print to honor the victory of overcoming obstacles. This is a four color linocut print that explores my interest in mediums other than digital.
